Keeping it Real. How to Write out of this World Paranormal and Magical Realism Stories
Are you drawn to other-world heroes and heroines? Do you crave characters who live in extraordinary worlds or do extraordinary things? The secret to writing those stories is to keep it real. Learn how to create intricate and believable worlds while writing magical things. The focus of this workshop will be on world building. It all comes down to decisions. We will take examples from current teen books that epitomize great paranormal and magical realism writing. Exercises will allow participants to practice and get feedback on what they learn.
